Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Resavi (the 'Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable Kenyan laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya.
2. Use of the Platform
You may use Resavi solely for lawful purposes. You agree not to post false reviews, impersonate other users, scrape data, or use the Platform in any way that violates the Consumer Protection Act (Kenya), the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act 2018, or any other applicable law.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Resavi accounts are registered via mobile number and verified through a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS.
4. Content and Reviews
You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Resavi a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content on the Platform. All user-generated content must comply with our Content Guidelines.
5. Payments and M-Pesa
Payments made through Resavi, including table booking deposits, are processed by licensed payment service providers. M-Pesa transactions are subject to Safaricom's terms of service. Resavi does not store M-Pesa PINs or sensitive financial data.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. Resavi does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any review or business information. Users should exercise their own judgment.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Resavi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
8. Changes to Terms
Resavi reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be notified via SMS or email.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Kenya, or through alternative dispute resolution as agreed by the parties.
